Google review software for pest control companies

Somebody with wasps in the loft or ants across the kitchen is not shopping for the cheapest quote. They want it dealt with today — and they want the person dealing with it not to poison the dog.

Why reviews decide the job before you quote it

The real question is safety, not pests

Every customer with children or a pet wants the same answer before they book: will this be done properly, and what does it leave behind? Reviews are where they look for it, and a calm, specific account of a treatment does more for you than any advert.

Call-outs happen at the worst possible moment

Wasps under the eaves in August, ants through a kitchen in June, a rat in the loft the week guests arrive. You are booked because you answered. The customer is too rattled to think about your listing until you remind them, later that evening.

A plan only pays off if people renew it

Repeat visits are most of the income, and they are decided by whether the last visit felt worth paying for. A recent review is the receipt, and it is the reason the customer stays on the plan rather than shopping around.

How it works on a real job

  1. 1Save your setup once

Business name, Google review link, and the wording you want to send. Thirty seconds, on a phone, once.

  2. 2Type a name and number

Or tap a recent customer, and their text is written for you already. No retyping an address or a number you sent to last week.

  3. 3Send it from your own phone

The message opens in your own Messages app with the link in place. Your customer gets a normal text from a number they recognise.

Everything happens on the phone in your pocket. There is nothing for your customer to install, and nothing for your crew to set up.

Texts that work for pest control companies

Pick one of these when you set up your account, or write your own. Every one uses the same placeholders, so the customer's name and your review link fill themselves in.

Questions pest control companies ask us

Do pest control customers leave reviews?
They do, and they tend to be specific about exactly what the next customer is worried about: how quickly you came out, whether the treatment was safe around children and pets, and whether the problem came back. That is more useful to a stranger than anything you could write yourself.
When is the best time to ask?
The same evening as the treatment, once the customer has stopped being annoyed by the problem. An afternoon ruled by wasps is a poor moment for any ask; by the evening they are simply relieved, and the text reads as a thank-you rather than a demand.
What if they will obviously need me again next season?
Ask anyway. A customer who has just renewed a plan is telling you they expect to keep paying you — that is the easiest review you will ever ask for, and the one that most reassures the household down the road with the same problem coming.
