For landscapers
Google review software for landscapers
Landscaping has the best repeat customers and the worst review count. The same gardens, week after week, for years — and almost none of those customers have ever been asked to say anything about it.

Why reviews decide the job before you quote it
Your regulars have never been asked
A weekly or fortnightly customer sees you so often that asking feels odd, so it never happens. They are the people best placed to describe your reliability, and the least likely to have written a word on your listing.
The work you are proudest of is the work nobody photographs
A border rebuilt, a lawn brought back from bare to thick, drainage that finally works. The before-and-after lives in your phone, not in a review — and the customer's own account of it is what convinces the next garden owner.
The neighbours are watching, and then checking Google
Word of mouth is why landscaping is a referral trade, but the neighbour who was told your name still looks you up before they call. What they find on your listing is what decides whether they dial.
How it works on a real job
1Save your setup once
Business name, Google review link, and the wording you want to send. Thirty seconds, on a phone, once.
2Type a name and number
Or tap a recent customer, and their text is written for you already. No retyping an address or a number you sent to last week.
3Send it from your own phone
The message opens in your own Messages app with the link in place. Your customer gets a normal text from a number they recognise.
Everything happens on the phone in your pocket. There is nothing for your customer to install, and nothing for your crew to set up.
Texts that work for landscapers
Pick one of these when you set up your account, or write your own. Every one uses the same placeholders, so the customer's name and your review link fill themselves in.

Questions landscapers ask us
- Do lawn care customers leave reviews?
- When they are asked, yes — usually a line or two about how reliable you are and how the garden has come on. The reason they have not is that the relationship never has a natural finishing moment: you are there again next week.
- When should I ask a regular customer?
- After a visit where something visible changed: the first cut of the season, a big tidy, a job you finished off for them. Ask once, then leave it. Asking weekly turns a compliment into a chore, and they will start ignoring it.
- Can I ask after a small one-off job?
- Yes, and those customers are worth asking, because one-off work is how you meet people before you have any relationship with them. The wording you would use for a regular is too familiar for them — use the first-visit one.
