For cleaning companies

Google review software for cleaning companies

A cleaner is trusted with keys, alarm codes and a family's privacy. Nobody hands any of that over lightly — which is exactly why the next house is decided by reviews.

Why reviews decide the job before you quote it

Trust is the product, and reviews are the only proof of it

Letting somebody into your home while you are at work is a bigger commitment than the price of the clean. A new customer reads your reviews looking for one thing: whether the last few people trusted you in the same way.

Your best customers never leave one

A fortnightly customer who has had the same two cleaners for years has the most to say and the least reason to say it. There is no finished job to celebrate, so the ask never comes up, and your listing looks quieter than your business is.

One-off cleans are the entry points

A move-out clean, a deep clean before guests arrive, a spring clean after winter. Those customers meet you once, decide everything from your reviews, and are the people most willing to leave one.

How it works on a real job

  1. 1Save your setup once

Business name, Google review link, and the wording you want to send. Thirty seconds, on a phone, once.

  2. 2Type a name and number

Or tap a recent customer, and their text is written for you already. No retyping an address or a number you sent to last week.

  3. 3Send it from your own phone

The message opens in your own Messages app with the link in place. Your customer gets a normal text from a number they recognise.

Everything happens on the phone in your pocket. There is nothing for your customer to install, and nothing for your crew to set up.

Texts that work for cleaning companies

Pick one of these when you set up your account, or write your own. Every one uses the same placeholders, so the customer's name and your review link fill themselves in.

Questions cleaning companies ask us

Will a weekly customer really leave a review?
Once, yes. Ask after something specific — the first clean, a deep clean, a day you changed at short notice and it worked — and then do not ask again. The relationship is why they will say something kind; asking every month is why they would stop.
Should I ask after a one-off clean?
That is the best moment you will get. Move-out and deep cleans are where new customers meet you, and those customers are reading reviews before they book. Ask at the handover, while the house is still visibly clean and they have just walked round it.
Does asking feel intrusive in somebody's home?
It is one sentence at the door, not a pitch, and it comes at the moment they can see the result. What feels intrusive is a marketing text a week later. Keep it to a single line and let them decide.
